IP Centrex

IP Centrex is a sensible telecommunications solution for home offices, small businesses, and medium sized business. It provides a series of simple, yet sophisticated services to the telephone user, with out the fuss and bother of trying to administer and support the system. The cost-benefit rewards are terrific since features can be subscribed to without the heavy capital expense of buying more than you really need. IP Centex is a centrally managed solution providing decentralized call distribution.

Our IP Centrex solution is a hybrid solution. We provide a turnkey solution which connects your local telephone lines to the internet and your local network. The only extras are telephones. Our facilities handle all the telephone and PBX features to which you've grown accustomed, plus many more.

Our solution simplifies disaster recovery planning, supports rapidly changing environments, and offers continually updated leading edge technology. At the same time, you won't require a dedicated telecommunications manager as we take care of all equipment maintenance and servicing.

Costs are contained and easily budgeted on a monthly basis.


Solution 
for 2-50 users A Home Office/Small Office/Medium Facility IP Telephony implementation minimizes the upfront equipment outlay, and takes advantage of the benefits of a fully-managed service. This type of service is similar to Centrex. We call it IP Centrex.

IP Telephone Extension

With an IP Telephone extension, people now have maximum flexibility in where, when, and how they use their telephone. An IP Telephone comes in two basic formats: Softphone and hardware based telephone.

The Softphone format is provided as downloadable software and runs on a computer. It works with a variety of headsets and handsets that plug into the speaker or USB ports.

Hardware based telephones plug directly into a network connection. Some even have a second network connection for connecting to a computer. This saves costs by requiring only one network connection at each desktop. Some telephone-like accessories allow fax machines to be plugged directly in to a network connection.

Since an IP Telephone is simply a network device, you can take your phone with you, and plug it into practically any network connection. Your telephone number travels with you.

By default, your IP Telephone has an extension number, identical in nature to telephone extension numbers found within companies.

By enabling call-forwarding, forward-when-busy, and forward-no-answer features, your telephone can be configured to basis for a complete unified messaging solution.

Telephone DID

By assigning a regular telephone number, ie, Direct Inward Dial (DID) number to your telephone, you can receive calls directly from any telephone, just like a regular telephone. Our system will find your phone anywhere on the internet and transfer the call to you.

By associating a toll free number with your telephone, you can make it easy to reach you and your organization no matter where you may be located.

Voice Mail

If you are unable to answer your telephone, subscribe to our voice mail option. After hearing your greeting, the caller may leave you a voice message. The message-waiting indicator on your IP Telephone will indicate you have messages waiting. You can be notified by email or by pager whenever a message is recorded. You can even have your voice-mail message forwarded to any email address. Messages can be retrieved by pressing the message on your IP Telephone or by dialing the voice-mail extension number. Use our website to update your voice-mail profile. Flexible forward-no-answer options are also available.

Faxes

As an option, we can provide you with a fax number for receiving faxes. Received faxes will be forwarded to an email address of your choice. Or you may subscribe to our message box service.

POP3

Obtain an email address from us. Or register your own unique domain name with us. Regardless of how you do it, we can supply a message box for holding your voice-mail, email, and faxes in one convenient location. You can retrieve those messages at any time with your favorite POP3 email client such as Eudora or Outlook Express. All inbound and outbound emails are automatically scanned for viruses.

Outlook

By using our Microsoft Outlook client as an installed or application or through a web-browser, you gain all the features of the POP3 mailbox, plus you get contact management, task lists, a scheduler/calendar, and tickler notes to help manage your busy day. Use Outlook Web Access from any Internet Explorer browser to catch up on voice-mail, email, and faxes when you are away from your office.

VPN

If you are traveling or connected to a different ISP, connect your computer to your message box through a safe, secure Virtual Private Network connection across the Internet.

Phone Access To Email/Fax

Listen to and respond to email messages through your telephone with Text To Speech. Do it through any cell phone, regular telephone, or IP Telephone. You can also redirect your faxes to a regular fax machine where ever you might be simply by entering in a telephone number.

Personal Assistant

This powerful service allows you to use voice commands to redirect and process your calls, use your Outlook calendar to set time-of-day call forwarding, and to automatically forward calls based upon who is calling. Use any combination to turn your day into a productive day through intelligent call management. Use our web-site to manage your profile.

Corporate Shared Folders

As a company using our suite of services, you can subscribe to our corporate shared folders. Each user using this service must already be subscribed to our Outlook service. This service allows you to view each other.s schedule, schedule meetings, create online discussions, and perform other group collaborative functions. All these features are available through Outlook and Outlook Web Access.

Auto-Attendant

Create a corporate presence by automatically answering all calls with a customized company greeting, or by forwarding to a designated receptionist (yours, or one through our contract reception services). Powerful scripting capabilities allow you guide your caller to the right department or person simply and easily.

Call-Queuing

Are you running a contact center, have a number of receptionists, or run support lines? Then add our Automated Call Distribution capabilities for your customer service representatives.

Blackberry

For subscribers of our Outlook service, you can sign up for Blackberry integration. Now process your voice-mail, email, and faxes through your PDA.
